Kamal Haasan's elder brother Charu Haasan returns to the silver screen after a long gap. He plays the lead in the upcoming Tamil film Dha Dha 87 directed by debutant Vijay Sri.

The film also marks the comeback of legendary comedian, Janagaraj, in a pivotal role. Apart from Charu Haasan and Janagaraj, Dha Dha 87 also features Saroja ( Keerthi Suresh Granny) Anand Pandi, Jeni Pallavi and Anu Lavanya.

The technical team comprises of DOP Raja Pandi for visuals, Leander and Al-Rufian for music while Vijay Sri himself takes care of the lyrics for the album.

Dha Dha 87 is an upcoming film directed by Vijay Sri. The film has Charu Haasan in the lead role, along with Saroja and Janagaraj. The music is composed by Leander Lee Marty. This venture is bankrolled by Kalai Cinemas. The audio launch took place recently and the film will be releasing soon.

The director, Vijay Sri will be at the helm of another project, this time it is going to be a horror film. The film has been titled Brain, and the details regarding the cast and crew will be officially announced soon. Brain is produced by Brahmma Movies and Kalai Cinemas.

The makers are aiming for a 2019 release. It is a bright start for Vijay Sri as he has landed his second film even before the release of his debut film.
