After the demise of 3 NEET aspirants in Tamil Nadu a day before the exam, many celebs and prominent leaders offered their condolences. Actor Suriya in a statement has shared his view about the court's judgement allowing the exam to be conducted.

Now, the latest news is that Madras High Court Judge SM Subramaniam writes a letter seeking action against actor Suriya. He has touted to have written a letter to Chief Justice AB Sahi seeking contempt of court action against actor Surya for his comments on holding court proceedings in video conferencing.

"Actor Suriya's comment that the court is asking students to take the exam in life-threatening situations is an insult to the honesty and diligence of the judges and the Chennai High Court. Surya's comment is not only underestimating, but also misleading", Justice Subramaniam has said in his letter to the Chief Justice.

He also added, "Suriya's opinion amounts to contempt of court as the integrity and devotion of the judges as well as the judicial system is not only undermined but criticised, where there is a threat for people's confidence on the judicial system".
