Denis Villeneuve, the man who directed Blade Runner 2049 has now come out and revealed that he will not be directing Bond 25. This is apparently due to the fact that he is already committed to doing a film called Dune, which is an adaptation of Frank Herbert's novel of the same name.
Beyond all the speculations that suggested that Daniel Craig will not be playing Bond after Spectre, it is said that he will be stepping into the 007's shoes once again for Bond 25.
He has reportedly said, "I think Daniel Craig is a fantastic actor and I would like to, but several months ago I came into do Dune, and I engaged myself. I committed myself and I’m someone that doesn’t step back." He also added that Dune is the kind of film he's been wanting to do, all his life.
