A week ago, we had reported the news that director Vijay Chander's (of Vaalu and Sketch fame) next will be bankrolled by Vijaya Productions and will have Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. 

This film is said to be a pakka mass action entertainer that will showcase a different side of the Makkal Selvan. The film goes on floors in February 2019.

We had also broken the news that D Imman would be scoring music for this biggie. Now, the official announcement has arrived. 

This, however, is not the first time Imman will be producing music for Vijay Sethupathi. They have earlier collaborated in films like Rekka and Karuppan.

As we are all aware, super fun director Venkat Prabhu recently delivered a successful film in Chennai 28 II. Now, he is currently busy with the post-production work for his next film, Party.

Party stars an ensemble cast that includes Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Jai, Shiva, Chandran, Shaam, Nivetha Pethuraj, Regina Cassandra, Sanchita Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and many others. 

This film is produced by Amma Creations and has music by Premgi Amaran. A single track called Cha Cha Cha Rey has already released and it had vocals by Suriya and Karthi. 

Now, the team has also announced that real-life husband and wife, GV Prakash and Saindhavi have sung a song for the film. We have more details on the rest of the singers list and it is exciting!

According to our sources, the legendary combination of SP Balasubrahmaniyam and Chitra are returning to croon a song together for this film. Apart from this, Anirudh is said to have lent his voice for a number. It is also added that D Imman has rendered a song from this film.
