Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide has been in the headlines and the news has shocked the entire nation.
Sushant Singh Rajput began his acting career in films with ‘Kai Po Che’ and portrayed the role of a cricket enthusiast and who mentors a young boy into a National level cricketer.
Digvijay Deshmukh who starred alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in ‘Kai Po Che’ recently spoke about the actor’s death and revealed that he was passionate about cricket in real life and after the shoot, promised to meet him again after he became a decent level cricketer.
The cricketer, who was selected to play for Mumbai Indians also revealed that when he got chosen to play for the team, he wanted to meet the ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actor but couldn’t due to the lockdown. He also said that if the lockdown wasn’t announced he could have met him and fulfilled his promise.
Digvijay Deshmukh, who was 15 years old during the making of the film, opened up about his co-star and revealed that he was very friendly, involved and passionate about his work. After a shot, he would invite him over to train together with scenes and camera angles.
‘Kai Po Che’ is directed by Abhishek Kapoor and stars Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkumar Rao and Amit Sadh in the lead roles.
