Recent news of a bike theft in Coimbatore has been grabbing attention and fans have identified the resemblance between the reel and real incident.
On Sunday, Suresh Kumar of Coimbatore received a bike in the courier, which he later realized was his own stolen bike.
Reports claim that the Coimbatore resident’s bike was stolen on May 18th when the vehicle was left unattended in front of a lathe workshop. He reported the theft to the police, but was told that further investigation could be carried out only post the lockdown.
A resident of Mannargudi who was working in a bakery in Coimbatore stole the bike as a means to reach his home in Mannargudi, Tiruvaru district. However, upon being realized that the theft had been reported, he couriered it to the address in the vehicle’s Registration Certificate.
The owner of the bike, after receiving the courier and paying required charges, confirmed that he would not be pursuing the case as the bike has been retrieved in good condition.
