Versatile actor Chiyaan Vikram is currently engaged in a number of highly-anticipated projects including Mani Ratnam's grandeur multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan that also casts Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Vikram Prabhu, Aishwarya Rai, and Jayaram in principal roles.
As we have reported, the team has completed the first schedule of the film and many members have returned to Chennai, but not Vikram. He has joined his 58th film's shoot today at Calcutta.
After completing a small portion in Mani Ratnam's dream project, Vikram has joined the second schedule shoot of the much-awaited flick Cobra, by Ajay Gnanamuthu. Srinidhi Shetty of KGF fame and Mirnalini Ravi are playing the female leads in Cobra.
Cobra is jointly produced by Viacom Studios, in association with Lalit Kumar under the banner 7 Screen Studio. Vikram's both the current projects, Ponniyin Selvan and Cobra will feature music by the Oscar Nayangan AR Rahman.
