The Coronavirus pandemic has broken the back of almost all people. From migrant labourers to lower middle class people to members of the film fraternity, many lost their jobs and livelihood. Megastar Chiranjeevi co-founded Corona Crisis Charity last year through which he helped daily wage workers by providing them rice and other basic essentials.
Several Tollywood stars including Prabhas, Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Nagarjuna had donated towards the Corona Crisis Charity last year. Chiranjeevi himself had donated Rs 2 crore for the welfare of film workers.
Recently, the Megastar also launched oxygen banks in Andhra Pradesh in an attempt to help Covid-19 patients. The Telugu star took to Twitter to announce that his Corona Crisis Charity in collaboration with Apollo 24x7 and Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust has commenced vaccination programme for Telugu Film workers of 24 crafts, Movie Artists association and Film Journalists Union.
