Yesterday, we had revealed that the trailer of Mani Ratnam's Chekka Chivantha Vaanam will be released this weekend. Now the makers have made it official, the trailer will be out tomorrow morning (August 25) at 10 AM.
Madras Talkies confirmed this news along with a brand new poster - "The wait is over! Chekka Chivantha Vaanam trailer out tomorrow at 10 AM. It was earlier speculated that Arvind Swami, Simbu and Arun Vijay are playing brothers in the film and the latest poster confirms the same. Check this photo, wow, that's one big family. We are told that the film is about the complications involved in a relationship. Vijay Sethupathi apparently plays a cop in the film.

Mani Ratnam is all geared up with his next big multi-starrer produced by Lyca Productions in association with Madras Talkies. This mega budget film is titled as Chekka Chivantha Vaanam.
The technical team is backed by an experienced crew including AR Rahman for music, Santhosh Shivan for the camera and Sreekar Prasad for editing.
CCV stars STR, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari, and others.
Now Lyca says they have an announcement to be made at 6.30 PM today - "An exciting update on #ChekkaChivanthaVaanam coming up at 6.30 PM today. #ManiRatnam @arrahman @MadrasTalkies_" - Lyca
We presume it is going to be about the music label. All Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman's recent albums have been acquired by Sony Music, so will it be the same team or will there be a change. Or it could even be about the release date of the film. Let's wait and see.
