Praveena Malisetty is a popular casting director based in Bengaluru, and also a Telugu writer. She has written for a lot of advertisements, while taking care of casting department for both movies and advertisements.
The talented artist passed away on March 24 due to Leukemia. She has worked on a lot of advertisements for brands like Asian Paints, OLX, GRT Jewellers etc., since 2013. She is also a close friend of singer and dubbing artiste Chinmayi Sripaada.
The star singer took to Twitter to post a condolence message for Praveena.
She wrote:
I lost a soul sister, a beam of joyous light in my circle of love to a prolonged battle with leukaemia yesterday.
She was one of the finest casting directors in this country.
Safe travels my love. Until I see you on the other side.
