It was recently reported that one of the popular reality shows, Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 3 which was hosted by Superstar Mohanlal was temporarily suspended due to rising COVID-19 cases and lockdown in Tamil Nadu.
For the unversed, the shooting of the reality show took place in Chennai and reportedly, a few members of the team were said to have tested positive for Covid 19. The makers of the reality show had announced officially that they have decided to temporarily stop the show due to the ongoing Coronavirus lockdown and have also assured their fans that they would be back once the situation is in control!
But as the show was already nearing for the grand finale and as the situation also does not look safe to continue with the shoot, the makers for the first time in the history of Bigg Boss Malayalam, has announced a new way to select the winner.
According to the teaser video, the team is set to declare a winner based on the public votes. Online voting will open for a week (March 24 to March 29) and netizens can vote for their favorite contestant. The winner of the season will be declared based on the votes. There were 8 contestants - Manikuttan, Noby Marcose, Ramzan Mohammed, Rithu Mantra, Dimpal Bhal, Kidilam Firoz, Sai Vishnu and Anoop Krishnan.
