After the success of 8 Thottakkal, director Sri Ganesh is here with his next film. We had earlier reported that the film is titled Kuruthi Aattam and will have Atharvaa in the lead role. This film will go on floors this month end and it is produced by Rockfort Entertainment T. Murganatham, in association with I B Karthikeyan of Big Print Pictures.

Speaking about the film, the director said: "This film will be an intense action thriller, happening in the world of Madurai and it's gangsters. The film will be filled with a lot of raw and exciting action sequences, where the audience will feel the punches and blows... There are a lot of emotions, comedy and relationships in the story."

Talking about the cast and the lead pair, "With a star like Atharva, whose status in the commercial arena is on the steady rise, we are confident of hitting the Bull's eye. The search for the Heroine is on and we will be announcing the same very soon". added Sri. 

His previous film 8 Thottakkal received critical acclaim for it's unique premise and engaging story. It had Vetri as the male lead while Aparna Balamurali played the female lead. MS Bhaskar portrayed a character with negative shades while Manikandan, Nasser and Mime Gopi in crucial roles. It was produced by Vetrivel Productions.
