Upcoming actor Aryan Shyam has recently garlanded his great grandfather Mr. V Krishnaswami’s statue on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Mr. V Krishnaswami is the founder of Indian Bank, which was established after he fought with the British. Being a lawyer, he brought down the ‘Arbuthnot Bank’ run by the British in India and established the Indian Bank for Indians.

Mr. V Krishnaswami is the first Indian to have a beach fronted statue outside the senate house in Madras University. The founder’s birth anniversary was also commemorated by issuing circulars to all branches of the Indian Bank.

Aryan Sharma, the great grandson of Mr. V Krishnaswami married into the AVM family by tying the knot with AVM Saravanan’s granddaughter.

Aryan Shyam is being launched in Tamil cinema in the film ‘Andha Naal’ which is currently under post production. The upcoming actor is also set to star in the Kannada remake of the 2018 Tamil film ‘Pariyerum Perumaal’.
