Sushant Singh Rajput’s sad demise stirred up the long talked topic of Nepotism in the Bollywood industry. The debate of ‘Outsiders vs Insiders’ has been the trending topic for many Twitteratis.
Recently, Music Director A.R.Rahman, who has won Oscar awards for the country, dropped a bomb saying “there is a gang working against me, spreading fake news.” He also said that this is the reason for him not working in many Bollywood movies in the recent past.
Many actors and celebs have come in support of ARR and have voiced out their opinions, favouring the ‘Mozart of Madras’. Bollywood filmmaker and actor Shekhar Kapur posted a tweet that read “You know what your problem is @arrahman? You went and got #Oscars . An Oscar is the kiss of death in Bollywood. It proves you have more talent than Bollywood can handle ..”
Giving a sweet and composed reply to this, AR Rahman wrote “Lost Money comes back, fame comes back, but the wasted prime time of our lives will never come back. Peace! Lets move on. We have greater things to do.”
On the work front, AR Rahman’s latest album is ‘Dil Bechara’, which marks Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film. He has a handful of projects in Kollywood, namely Vikram’s ‘Cobra’, Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Ayalaan’ and Maniratnam’s Magnum Opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’.
