Thalapathy Vijay's Sarkar released on Diwali day and this AR Murugadoss directorial was sucked into the web of controversies as soon as it released. This happened due to the scenes that were criticizing the government. The cadres of a political party had protested against these scenes and demanded they be removed from the film.
Following this, a case was filed against director AR Murugadoss and the interim order read that he cannot be arrested till November 27. Now, the Kaththi director had applied for an anticipatory bail.
Recently, the political party had taken to court, asking AR Murugadoss to apologize and not criticize the government in his future projects. Now, ARM has issued a smashing statement against these claims.
He said, "I will not tender an apology for criticizing the government schemes in Sarkar and I cannot give any assurance too that I wouldn't criticize them again in my future projects."
