We have the latest round of updates from VTV 2, featuring Simbu and directed by Gautham Menon.

Both Simbu and Gautham Menon have talked about this project while addressing the media but an official announcement about the film, its cast, crew, and the music director has not been made yet.

Our sources hint us that Anushka is in talks to play Simbu's love interest in VTV 2, but an official announcement on this is expected. The first part was known for the sparkling chemistry that Simbu and Trisha shared and it will be a challenging task to recreate that magic again. But we know Gautham Menon is full of surprise and he is capable of pulling off something as remarkable as the first part, if not out doing it.

Simbu and Anushka are a great pair on screen. Simbu has previously worked with Anushka in Vaanam. In fact, the Manmadan actor had mentioned that Anushka is his favourite heroine in the recent event, Behindwoods Gold Medals 2018.

VTV is about Karthik's journey after breaking up with Jessie. This project was initially titled as Ondranga but then GVM had apparently tweaked the script to suit the image of Simbu and now it is tentatively called as Vinnaithandi Varuvean.
