Today, the team has released the lyrical video of the song Anthaathi from 96. Anthaathi is a 7-minute track sung by Chinmayi Sripaada, Govind Vasantha, and Bhadra. It also contains a bit of the song Kaathalae Kaathalae that has become a running hit among fans.
This song also contains a poem recited by actor Nasser at the end of it. Notably, it is one of the very rare times that an album has a song that is 7 minutes long.

The trailer and the songs of Vijay Sethupathi - Trisha starrer 96 has connected big time with the audience, and the film has already garnered huge expectations.
This soulful romantic entertainer was touted to release on September 13, for the Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend, alongside Sivakarthikeyan's Seemaraja. However, now our close sources suggest that the film's release date might be advanced by a week. We are informed that the team is looking to release 96 either on September 6 (Thursday) or September 7 (Friday).
Meanwhile, the Vinayakar Chathurthi weekend is already crowded with three films in the form of Seemaraja, U-Turn and Naragasooran. In a few days of time, more clarity regarding this will reach us. Stay tuned.
