Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta audio launch is happening today (December 9) in a grand manner at a private college in the outskirts of Chennai. The songs of the film are composed by Anirudh Ravichander and the first two singles from the film are already chartbusters.
The film is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures with Simran, Trisha, Vijay Sethupathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Sasikumar, and others, being part of the cast.
Anirudh's speech from the event:
"It feels awkward to wear the coolers in front of Thalaivar. So, I will remove it. The first film I saw in the theatre was Annamalai. I was 2.5 years old. Since then, the FDFS experience has not changed and it has been exciting. If I am a Thalaivar veriyan, Karthik is a Maha veriyan, and when all the veriyans (entire team) work together, definitely, a good product will be made. This album is a dedication for all Thalaivar fans from myself and Karthik. During my childhood, I have got appreciations from Rajini sir.
Rajini sir heard Marana Mass song in its final mixing stages and told me,- 'Excellent, excellent, excellent'. I worked for the next four hours like never before. That was the energy, his words gave me. Petta will be a Pongal feast for everyone."
