Celebrated actor Irrfan Khan has been battling a life-threatening disease for nearly two years and was currently undergoing treatment in London. The actor is diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour, a form of cancer.
Recently, the official trailer of the actor's comeback film, Angrezi Medium, was recently out. Co-starring Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Dimple Kapadia in principal roles, the film is a sequel to the actor's 2017 comedy-drama Hindi Medium.
Directed by Homi Adajania, the trailer focusses on the trials and tribulations undergone by Hindi-speaking middle class to pursue higher education at foreign countries. Much like the predecessor, Angrezi Medium also tries to portray education in a bittersweet way.
The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. With music by Sachin Jigar, Angrezi Medium is set to release on March 20. Ahead of the trailer's release, Irrfan Khan released an emotional voice note in which he shares about working in the film and the battles brought by his disease.
