25+25+100 = VIJAY'S MERSAL SURPRISE

Yesterday, the 25th of July, we had informed you that the entire shoot of Mersal is getting wrapped by July 31st. With that, the production team will be on the top gear with post-production work for a grand Diwali release.

Our sources tell us that the makers are planning for a great surprise for both Vijay and AR Rahman fans on August 20th during the audio launch event which is expected to be a big celebratory event as Vijay, AR Rahman and producer Thenandal Murali have all achieved a significant milestone this year in their respective careers.

This is Vijay's 25th year (Debut: Naalaiya Theerpu in 1992), AR Rahman's 25th year (Debut: Roja in 1992) and Mersal is the 100th project of Sri Thenandal Films which is now rechristened as Thenandal Studio Limited.
