Right now, Thala Ajith is currently busy with his upcoming film Viswasam with director Siva. Nayanthara stars alongside him while D Imman composes the music.
But back in 2005, when he had committed to playing the lead in Bala's Naan Kadavul (which he later didn't do), he had met director Ameer to work on his film before Paruthiveeran.
In an exclusive conversation with Behindwoods during the promotions of Ameer's acting endeavor Vada Chennai, he reveals his experience and plans with Ajith.
"Thala Ajith and I were together for almost 7 hours in a hotel room and we were talking and discussing things like close friends. In those 7 hours, he made coffee for me a couple of times and when asked, he said that he only does all this for his friends. This was even before starting Paruthiveeran.
At that time, we were supposed to do a film and I even narrated a story to him which he really liked. In fact, he asked me to conduct a press meet and inform that we are doing a film. I said that I wouldn't do that for various reasons. That was around the time he had committed for Naan Kadavul. I told him lets finish everything and decide, and not take emotional decisions. But later, that didn't happen."
Wouldn't it have been an interesting combination to watch on screen? Let us wait and see if this can happen again! Meanwhile, Ameer has been receiving praise for his performance in Vetri Maaran's Vada Chennai.
