Vijay Antony's next movie is supposed to be directed by Cinematographer turned Director Vijay Milton, which is bankrolled by Infiniti Film Ventures. Having worked with many top directors like S.A. Chandrasekhar and Balaji Sakthivel, Vijay Milton directed his first film 'Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkiradhu' in 2006. Also, his film 'Goli Soda' was nominated for the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for the Best Film and won the second prize.
Sources close to us have confirmed that the makers have roped in another famous Telugu star Allu Sirish for an important role in the film. Allu Sirish is all set to return back to Tamil Cinema after a gap of six years. The actor made his debut in Tamil cinema as a child artist in Mayabazar (1995). Having played the lead in Gouravam in 2013, this movie is expected to be his third Tamil movie, where he is to put on a new facade that is different from his previous roles.
Sirish also mentioned that he was supposed to be a part of Kaappaan, but couldn't feature in the film due to date clashes. Anyhow, the actor, was 'intrigued' by his character in the film and had agreed to commit to this film. The said project with Vijay Milton is expected to start shooting from October.
Vijay Antony was last seen in Kolaigaran along with Arjun Sarja. His ongoing projects include Agni Siragugal, directed by 'Moodar Koodam' fame Naveen and stars Vijay Antony along with Prakash Raj, Arun Vijay and Shalini Pandey, whereas in 'Khakhee' his co-stars include Sathyaraj and Eswari Rao. Vijay Antony's upcoming project 'Thamilarasan' includes Suresh Gopi, Vijay Antony, Ramya Nambeesan, Sonu Sood, and a wider ensemble.
