Akshay Kumar was recently in the news for bagging National Award for Best Actor for Rustom and Airlift. He started the year with Jolly LLB 2 which did well at the box office, and he may have another three more releases this year in the form of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, 2.0 and Pad Man.
Recently we had reported that Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's tentatively titled Raula on August 11th. In a recent interview to a North Indian newspaper, Akshay had reportedly talked about box office clashes.
He was quoted as saying that clashes are going to become too common now because of the increase in releases every year. On his and Shah Rukh's film hitting the screen on the same day (August 11), Akshay said, “It is a long weekend and there can easily be two big films hitting the screen. These clashes are healthy but shouldn't reflect in any personal relationship”. He had also reportedly stated that an impressive content is going to determine a movie's success.
