Early this year on Republic Day 2017, Shah Rukh Khan 's 'Raees' and Hrithik Roshan 's 'Kaabil' clashed and both the films were well received by the audiences.
Now, there is going to be a similar situation for Shah Rukh Khan and this time he is clashing with Akshay Kumar. Yes, Shah Rukh Khan's untitled next, tentatively called 'The Ring' will be clashing with Akshay Kumar 's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. Both these films are slated to release on August 11, 2017.
Though Akshay Kumar's 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' was scheduled for a summer release on the first week of June, but due to production delays it is now pushed for an August release. Interestingly, Akshay had clashed his 'Rustom' with Hrithik's 'Mohenjo Daro' on the same Independence Day last year.
Now let us wait and watch who gets benefited with this year's Independence Day clash.
