Aditi Rao Hydari from Kaatru Veliyidai fame has had the opportunity to work with the legend Mani Ratnam once again. She has played a prominent role in Mani Ratnam's next Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The actress shared her experience working with the director and speaks about his passion towards cinema.

"Sir is extremely strict on sets and there is no space for being lenient or what so ever. Sir has chosen people who he trusts and thinks can live up to his expectations so, he will make sure you do your best and deliver what he is expecting.

On some days, you feel like you might die because you are always trying to catch up to him. It is really hard to match his passion for cinema, but in the end, it is all worth that effort. He is definitely a mentor and a father figure for every actor who works with him."
