ENGLISH VINGLISH AND RAANJHANAA ACTRESS PASSES AWAY

Hindi Television and film actress Sujata Kumar passed away, yesterday 19th August after battling fourth stage cancer. She had been admitted in the Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai.

She appeared in English Vinglish as Sridevi's sister. Some of her other notable films are Gori Tere Pyaar Mein!, Guzaarish and Raanjhanaa. She is also known for acting some memorable TV ads for brands like 3 Roses.

Actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthi confirmed this news via Twitter, "Our beloved Sujata Kumar has passed away and moved on to a better place leaving us with an umimaginable void. She left us an hour ago at 11.26 pm on the 19th of august 2018..Life can never be the same again ..."
