Actress Meera Chopra is widely famous across all industries. She has given memorable performances in various films. She was last seen in the 2019 film Hindi ‘Section 375’, which was a courtroom drama directed by Ajay Bahl.
Recently, the actress took to Twitter to share a long note about how stressful it is for an actor in the industry. She also mentioned how some directors exploit the artists emotionally and ruthlessly.
Her note read “Lot of people including me, wants to break the silence as to why actors commit suicide in this industry, what brings them to the edge. How the system works against you and how some directors exploit you emotionally and ruthlessly.”
“I’ve been there and I still get subjected to it. But the point is how much support you get when you open up, and how many people stand with you. Has it stopped after Sushant’s suicide? NO.”
“The fear of everything makes you take that step eventually. It’s never about work , there’s plenty in this industry, it’s about your self respect, dignity, principles and most of it, your peace.” (sic)
