One of the most trending issues right now is the ban on cattle slaughter. The students of IIT Madras had conducted a beef fest at their campus, a few days ago, which was heavily condemned and had caused a huge issue. In fact, it also led to another group of students involving in violence. Today, there was a protest organized by the students who are against the ban and also opposing the students who took to violence.

Actress Kasthuri took to Twitter this morning to comment on the happenings at IIT Madras. She said, ''1/3  Organising a #Beeffest was a bad idea, designed to offend people and fuel reactions. Now he got it.  #iitmadras'', it continued with, ''2/3  I oppose cattle slaughter ban. But my food habits should not be inconsiderate to others around me.
