"The team had already completed 50 percent of the film's shooting and that is when they started searching actors for my character. The film's writer Vinayak, who has seen my previous films, got in touch with me. I liked the story and it was really intriguing. In a week's time, I signed the project. My character is of vital importance and the audience will feel remember it for a long time. In spite of being a gangster film, my character is strongly written and my presence will be felt throughout.
It is a very honest attempt and the film will be liked by all types of audiences. Everyone should come to the theatre with an open mind. With a top notch casting and brilliant technical work, it was a great experience for me.", Chandini shared.
While talking about her co-star and actor Guru Somasundaram, the talented actress said, "Somu sir was a brilliant co-star and I learnt a lot from him. He gets so deeply involved in a scene, that, I couldn't see Somu sir anytime in the sets. I saw only Sampath (the character he plays)."
She also finally added that her character in this film will be different from her previous ones. "My look in this film is totally contrasting from my other films. I have done quite a few bold scenes for the first time, since the script demanded. But at the same time, it will not be sleazy. I saw the film and I really loved it.", signed off Chandini.
Good luck Chandini and all the best to Vanjagar Ulagam!
