After a three-hour long investigation, Sasikumar met the press and had a few words to say.

"Ashok is my cousin. I am unable to get over his death. He is one of the most important reasons for my growth, and he was a great support to me. His suicide has disturbed me a lot. Regarding this, I have given all the information to the police. Whatever I know, I have shared with them. I have already been in contact with them through the phone, but now we have met in person, and I have given them all the necessary information. This is more like a conversation sharing all the background information about us because Ashok and I have grown up together and I had to let them know how we got here and everything. I have told them everything, from Subramaniapuram to our travel in this industry, all the details regarding him, his problems and mental state of being."
