Actor Jai made his film debut at age 16 as Thalapathy Vijay's younger brother in the film Bhagavathi in 2002. The project's director A. Venkatesh had said that he chose Jai as a result of his resemblance in appearance to Vijay.
Jai got his big break from Venkat Prabhu's directorial debut Chennai 600028, and from then on, he became a part of many successful projects - Goa, Subramaniyapuram, Saroja, Raja Rani amongst others. His latest movie was Capmaari with veteran director S.A. Chandrashekhar.
Now, it has been exclusively learnt that the actor is all set to team up with another veteran filmmaker once again. Yes, Jai will join hands with legendary director Bharathiraja for a new movie to be directed by Suseenthiran. The camera is to be cranked by DOP Velraj. Heroine is debutant Dhivya Duraisamy (Former Thanthi TV Newsreader).
