After two successful documentaries, Lightman and Neelam, director Venkatesh Kumar has come up with his next, The Beautiful Eye. It is an 80 minute long documentary on blindness and has been officially selected to be screened at the 8th Friendship Film Festival, New Delhi.

In Tamil cinema, I am inspired by Ajith Kumar sir. Nobody knows clearly about his background and how he came up. They say he was initially a mechanic, but nobody knows for sure. He worked hard, entered bike racing first, then went into car racing and won the 3rd place for Asia in the 1990s. Now he is in cinema and holds a huge position. He doesn't need fame and he is one of the most responsible people in the cinema industry. In the latest trend, I like Ajith sir a lot."
