Mani Ratnam's next film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam has 4 leads - Simbu, Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swami. The female leads are Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa. Actors Prakash Raj and Jayasudha also play crucial supporting roles. The film is produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
The latest update on the film is that the looks of all the four lead actors will be revealed tomorrow. The film is slated to release on 28th September and the post production work is going on in full flow. A.R Rahman has collaborated with Mani Ratnam again to compose the music. It must be noted that Rahman has worked with Mani Ratnam in all his films since 1992.
Santosh Sivan is the man behind the lens for the much anticipated film. This also sees Vairamuthu joining the combination of Rahman and Mani Ratnam again. The shooting started in February and the team shot extensively across a lot of locations, including foreign ones like Serbia. The shooting was completed in June. Stay tunes for further updates.
