As we all know, the much awaited teaser of Shankar's magnum opus, 2.0 is all set to release on September 13, on the auspicious occasion of Vinayagar Chathurthi.
 

Since the posters of the film suggested that the film's teaser will release in 3D, a section of audience were confused about the process of watching the teaser. Will the teaser release in 3D version on YouTube or will it be screened only in theatres? There were a few doubts on the lines of these.

To clear the air, the team of 2.0 issued an important statement last night, clarifying that 2.0 teaser's 3D version will be screened in select theatres, which has the equipped facility.

The list of theatres in which 2.0's 3D teaser will be screened, will be officially released by the team within few days. Theatres which do not possess the 3D facility, will screen the teaser in 2D version.

Meanwhile, the 2D version of the teaser will be released on YouTube for the general audience's viewing.

It has now been officially confirmed that the teaser of 2.0 will release in both 2D and 3D versions simultaneously.
