Ukraine-born Russian tycoon found dead at home

Mikhail Watford, 66, made his fortune in the oil and gas industry in Ukraine. He then set his foot in the real estate industry in the UK. He was found hanging in a bungalow worth Rs 150 crore he owned in UK.
Shock
Mikhail's body was found hanging inside the garage when his staff opened the it. Following this, the police arrived at the scene, seized the body and sent it for autopsy. Police said there was no suspicion of into the death of the father of three.
War is the cause
According to a family friend, Mikhail was worried about Russia's war on Ukraine.
Mikhail's family friend said, "The time of his death and the invasion of Ukraine were certainly not coincidental. His name was not on the list of people sanctioned by the government. His death raises questions. After all the other suspicious deaths of Russian nationals and associates in the UK, it is only natural there will be speculation about his death.”
He also said that Mikhail had been worried since the day the war began and did not expect him to take such an extreme decision.
Mikhail's wife Jane wrote on her Facebook page, 'He lived a very beautiful life. His is one of the greatest love stories in the world. "
