There are groups around the world that travel at sea on a daily basis for fishing. Going into the sea with supplies for the voyage, they will continue their hunt until they are economically successful. A group of 3 people from South Africa went fishing in the Atlantic Ocean.
While traveling on the island of Verdi in Africa, the group realized that a giant fish had been caught in a net. They thought the fish might have been overweight, causing the entire boat to shake for about 30 minutes. But they did not think that day would be the most important day of their lives.
Named the Smoker after the famous captain Ryan R. Williamson, the fishing boat has been battling the giant fish for about 30 minutes. Finally, the fishermen acted quickly and when they pulled the net up, they saw a giant blue marlin inside.
The fish weighed 621 kg and was 12 feet long and 3 feet wide. Also, experts have officially announced that this is the second largest blue marlin caught in the Atlantic Ocean.
Previously, the 1,402-pound fish caught in Brazil in 1992 was the largest blue marlin ever caught in the Atlantic Ocean. It is currently the second largest fish in South Africa after its favorite fisherman.
The fishermen on the boat said they were thrilled to find their largest Blue Marlin fish on a 6-day voyage.
