Millions of people around the world use this map. It also allows us to see places in every corner of the globe at our fingertips. With this technology we can see not only roads but also streets and houses.
This exclusive video from Google Map shows us a few seconds tour of the Chauvet Caves in the south of France.
Viral video
This video has been posted on the official Instagram page of Google Map. The location of the caves, which are 36,000 years old, is zoomed in and shown. Located in southern France, Chauvet Cave is known for its unique paintings. Within it are numerous paintings by ancient humans.
UNESCO says the paintings on the cave's rock may be the world's first art museum.
Chauvet Cave
The caves were discovered in 1918 on the banks of the Artes River in France. Created in prehistoric times, these cave paintings are an important part of art history. The site was declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2014. On the walls of these caves are paintings of 13 species of creatures.
