Freedom of speech
Musk commented on his Twitter page about freedom of speech. "By “free speech”, I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law. If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.”
It has been reported that Musk has refused to join the board of directors of Twitter, although it has already bought shares. Elon Musk later wrote in a letter to Twitter's head of company that he had "invested in the belief that Twitter would be a global platform for free speech and that freedom of speech is a fundamental right of a community."
Musk's comments on Twitter after his acquisition of the company are now going viral around the world.
