What? Woman gets engaged to a chandelier

It is said that love is blind. However, in the case of 34-year-old Amanda Liberty, love went a step ahead of just being blind. Liberty recently got engaged to a 94-year-old German chandelier and even got a tattoo of her partner on her arm.

Liberty first spotted Lumiere - the chandelier on eBay and according to her, it was love at first sight. The woman identifies herself as 'objectum sexual', which means that she is attracted to physical objects. Reportedly, Liberty was very nervous before getting a tattoo of Lumiere but ended up pleased with the results. In fact, her tattoo was also appreciated by Lumiere herself. "Lumiere also thought it was brilliant, she gave me the energy telling me it was great," said Liberty.

At the age of 14, Liberty first fell in love with a drum kit. She has also fallen in love with the Statue of Liberty and even changed her last name as a mark of her love.
