Shocking - Volcano-triggered tsunami kills at least 222 in Indonesia; Over 800 injured

According to reports, a volcano-triggered tsunami hit the beaches of Indonesia's Sunda Strait, taking the lives of at least 222. The tsunami slammed Indonesia on Saturday night without any warning.

 

Reportedly, hundreds of buildings were destroyed by the wave. The wave was triggered by a volcanic eruption which is very rare. Unlike, tsunamis that are caused by earthquakes, these ones do not give any warning of the impending disaster.

 

Reportedly, 222 people were reported dead, 843 injured and 28 missing. The tsunami uprooted many trees and beaches were strewn with debris.
