VIDEO: "Keep your Mouth Shut," Police Chief tells President Trump! - Why did he say that to Trump?

The Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo’s response to US President Donald Trump’s recent comment against Governers, surprised many and left many others in shock. 

Trump was on a conference call with Governers earlier in which he reportedly said that many of the Governers are weak but they cannot show their weakness at this point and there is a need for them to dominate. The comment was passed with respect to the on-going protest in US.

While talking to CNN, the Police Chief responded to US President Donald Trump’s comment. He said, “Let me just say this to the President of the United States, on behalf of the police chiefs of this country: Please, if you can't be constructive, keep your mouth shut”

He further told that it is important for the president to know the distinction between kindness and weakness. He spoke about the risk people are facing at this point and he once again urged the president to guide them  rather than criticizing by saying “if you don’t have something to say then don’t say it because that’s the basic tenet of leadership and we need leadership now more than ever.”

He also emphasized on the need for people to stand with police, raise their opinion, vote and even march but carry it peacefully without putting many other lives at risk.
