US to implement efficient H-1B Visa rules!
Home > World newsAccording to reports, the Trump administration on Wednesday announced the introduction of a new rule to the filling of H1-B visas. They asserted that the new rule is more efficient, effective and helps in attracting the best talent in the US.
The rule will introduce an electronic registration requirement for petitioners seeking to file H-1B cap-subject petitions. Though the new rule will go into effect in April, the electronic registration requirement will be suspended for the fiscal year (FY) 2020 cap season.
Once implemented, the new registration system will reduce overall costs for the employer and increase government efficiency. USCIS Director Francis Cissna said, "As a result, US employers seeking to employ foreign workers with a US master's or higher degree will have a greater chance of selection in the H-1B lottery in years of excess demand for new H-1B visas."
