Donald Trump Finally Reacts To Kanye West's US Presidential Bid; His Response Goes Viral!
Home > News Shots > World newsAfter days of rapper Kanye West announcing that he plans to run for president this year, US President Donald Trump finally opened up on the same stating that he (Kanye) is running for president was "very interesting."
During a recent interview, Trump told RealClearPolitics that he’s not sure if West is serious, but that he won’t appear on many state ballots. “He may. It’s very interesting. It’d have to be limited to certain states because in some states the deadline has been missed. If he did it, he would have to view this as a trial run for what’s going to happen in four years.”
The news broke social media on July 4, after Kanye West took to his Twitter handle stating that he will run for president. Rapper West, who visited Trump in the Oval Office in 2018 announced his proposed run on the day the country celebrated Independence Day.
"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States," the music and fashion mogul said. He added his post with an icon of a US flag and the hashtag "2020Vision."
So far, Kanye has not provided any details about his alleged campaign.
