Trump Claims 'Kim Jong Un' Shared Critical Information about Killing his Uncle! Details
Home > News Shots > World newsPresident Donald Trump has spoken about the novel coronavirus, US’ relationship with North Korea and about a secret nuclear weapon among others while he was in conversation with journalist Bob Woodward. Some of the excerpts from his book “Rage” provide new details about Trump’s thoughts on these subjects.
In one of the excerpts from the book, Woodward wrote that Trump stated he was impressed with Kim when he first met the North Korean leader in Singapore in 2018 and that Kim was "far beyond smart." Trump also mentioned that Kim "tells me everything" and in addition, he added that Kim had given a graphic description of how he killed his own uncle.
Trump recounts that while he engaged in nuclear talks with Kim, he had rejected intelligence officials’ assessments that North Korea would never give up its nuclear weapons. Trump told the journalist that the CIA did not know how to tackle Pyongyang.
“Trump also dismissed criticism about his three meetings with Kim, claiming the summits were no big deal. Critics said that by meeting Kim, Trump provided the North Korean leader with legitimacy on the world stage,” Economic Times reported.
"It takes me two days. I met. I gave up nothing," Trump said. He associated North Korea's attachment to its nuclear arsenal to someone who is in love with a house and "they just can't sell it."
According to Trump, Kim reportedly believed that that “deep and special friendship between us will work as a magical force."
