Spain Recorded World's Highest Number of Daily Death Toll; Breaks China, Italy and US Record!
Home > News Shots > World newsAmid the rise in positive cases in the world, the coronavirus pandemic death toll in Spain has crossed 10,000. With this report, the country recorded its highest number of deaths in a single day as the total from 950 rose to 10,003 with 1,10,238 positive cases.
Earlier in the week, Italy had recorded a rise of 919, which was then thought to be the highest increase of coronavirus-related deaths.
With this report and record, Italy becomes the second worst-affected country in terms of cases not far behind the United States, which stand first.
