Spain Surpasses China With Highest Number of COVID-19 Deaths; Records Biggest Rise Ever!
Home > News Shots > World newsWith the rapid rise in positive cases due to the deadly coronavirus, Spain stands second to Italy in worldwide deaths from COVID-19, after it surpassed China. Spain's death toll rose to 3,434 as 738 people died over the past 24 hours.
With this shocking death toll, Spain has registered a 3,434 number where as Italy is the first that has an official death toll of 6,820.
With the rise and fear increasing, countries across the world are implementing the the biggest lockdown people to be safe and carry out government measures. India, followed the example of a number of countries.
Earlier in the week, Spain's parliament extended their country's lockdown by prolonging a state of emergency until 11 April.
