WATCH: Russia Shows How Sputnik V Vaccine Will End Virus in Video

As the world awaits for the first COVID-19 vaccine, Russia began the production of its coronavirus vaccine named Sputnik V last week. Currently, this vaccine has also been termed as world's first vaccine against the novel coronavirus. 

Earlier in August, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that his country has developed the world’s first vaccine against COVID-19. He also stated that one of his daughters has already been vaccinated. 

As per Sputnik News, the Russian Direct Investment Fund has created a promotional video for the Sputnik V Covid-19 vaccine. In the video, the experts have shown how the Sputnik V Vaccine emerges and slowly eradicates the virus which has engulfed the whole Earth. 

The Sputnik V Vaccine has been created by the Moscow-based Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology, which was fast-tracked for approval after proving capable of building up immunity against the virus. 

According to reports, the plan is to conduct studies in countries including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Currently, mass production has been lined up in a number of nations, with at least 20 interested in obtaining supplies. Also, the mass production of the vaccine is expected from September.
