Video: Prince Charles Avoids Handshake, Greets Celebrities With A ‘Namaste’; Twitter Amused!

Amid fears over the deadly Coronavirus, Prince Charles, was caught greeting celebrities and guests with a Namaste at a recent event on March 11, in London. 

As the number of coronavirus cases in the United Kingdom has increased, people are advised to ditch any kind of physical contact with others. The recent one to follow these rules was 'The Royal Family'; Prince Charles was seen greeting people with a Namaste at the annual Prince's Trust Awards at the London Palladium.

A video of Prince Charles greeting with a Namaste went viral on social media after IFS officer Parveen Kaswan posted the clip with a caption saying, "Namaste. See, we Indians told to do this to the world many many years ago. Now just a class on 'how to do a namaste properly."

In the video, Prince Charles, who can be seen arriving at the event offers his hand to greet a guest; then suddenly he remembers to greet celebrities with a Namaste. Watch the video below:  

This video has garnered a lot of attention and comments world wide. Highlighting over coronavirus, the total number of cases has increased to 124,000 with over 4,500 deaths.
