Video: Man Saves Dog After Leash Gets Stuck In Moving Elevator
Home > News Shots > World newsA video is currently making the rounds, where a man was caught saving a dog after its leash got stuck in an elevator. The man is currently being hailed as a hero who acted promptly and saved the dog.
The video was posted on social media by the man himself on how he saved the dog. The whole incident was caught on security camera and its footage has gone viral.
In the video, a 27-year-old man, identified as Johnny Mathis can be seen coming out of the lift and a woman with a Pomeranian getting inside. Within minutes, the elevator door closes and the dog is left outside. Without wasting much time, the man ran hurriedly to save the dog from getting strangled by its leash.
While speaking to NBC News, the man said "I tried to break it at first. I tried to lean down on it with all my weight but it wouldn't snap."
After he found a buckle on the leash, the man was able to open it and saved the dog.
This video has garnered over 19.6 million views, 1.55 lakh likes and 34,000 retweets so far! People on social media have called him 'HERO'.
