Video: Man Pulls 17-Foot Gigantic Anaconda From Water; Footage Goes Viral!

A video is currently going viral, where a group of people were caught trying to pull a gigantic anaconda out of river water. This video is sure to scare you! 

According to a NDTV report, the video dates back to 2014, but is recently going viral on social media. As per Daily Mail report, the incident took place in Brazil when a group of three people went for boating and came across a gigantic snake.

The group of people, who had gone down the Santa Maria river in September 2014 came across a 17-feet long snake. It was Sirlei Oliveira's husband Betinho Borges and friend Rodrigo Santos, who caught sight of it, Daily Mail further reported.

After Borges attempted to catch the anaconda by its tail, the snake tried to get away from the boat and desperately moved. Borges even asked his friend to help him get hold of the snake, while Oliveira can be seen yelling in Portuguese to her husband: "Leave it! Oh my god."

In the video, Borges can be seen holding the anaconda by its tail and pulling it several times. After many attempts the man left the snake into the water. 

Ever since the video has gone viral, it has collected more than 3 lakh views and thousands of reactions to it. Even, environmental police in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, fined the group $600 each, as per Fox news. 

The snake caught in this video has been identified as a yellow anaconda, which is one of the largest snakes in the world. Despite being the largest, it is still the smallest when compared to anaconda family.
